TM Moto Shifter Kart

TM Moto Shifter Kart Engine The TM Moto was brought into the American shifter kart scene in 1997 where the engine took many victory's in North America as a moto shifter engine. As the years went by, the TM Moto was the only moto shifter kart engine that was popular and strong enough to compete against the popular Honda CR125 engine in this category. And the TM Moto was one of the only moto shifter engines that out lasted most other shifter kart engines.

In recent years the TM Moto shifter kart engine has became less popular with newer engines being widely supported such as the Stock Honda and many other ICC Italian, shifter kart specific engines.

There are still many who build and race these great engines, but the TM Moto is rarely scene today in shifter kart racing.

The TM Moto came in the years of 1998, 1999 and 2000, featuring a vertical cage and case cooling as one of the latest improvements. Italian importers such as Italian motors, today still support and supply customers as well as dealers with TM Moto parts and after market upgrades for these shifter kart engines. As well as a complete engine in stock for similar to pre build Stock Honda's, ready to go minus the motor mount and silencer for an almos bot on moto shifter kart engine.

Similar to many other shifter kart moto engines, from many Japanese motorcycle manufactures such as Yamaha and Kawasaki, the TM Moto shifter kart engine wasn't popular enough to stay in the shifter kart scene as the years went by and people where looking for a more cost effective way into shifter kart racing. Shifter karts arent nearly as popular as they where years ago so it seems that engines such as the TM Moto may never become popular again in the shifter kart market.
